One of my favourite times of year is Christmas. I love Christmas for lots of reasons. First of all we have holidays so I have time to relax and sit in front of the fireplace on cold evenings maybe read a little and sip hot chocolate. Secondly, we always get together with our family and friends and talk, and eat, and talk, and eat some more. Everyone is happy and the children are excited. The seasonal music adds to the whole holiday feeling.
What about you---what time of year or what celebration is one of your favourites. What is it that you like most about it?

One of my favourite times of the year is Hallowe'en because my parents and I get to dress up and give out treats to trick-or-treaters who come to the house. I also enjoy decorating the house with spooky cobwebs, black bats, squeaky rats, hairy tarantulas, mouldy skeletons, and orange lights.

My sister minuette and my Aunt Camille and I went out side and we made a snowman (Girl) she didn’t look normal her eye kept falling out which was funny, I think, actually, we think. I like snowy days because you get to have snow ball fights, make snowmen or women or just relax inside or you could sit outside in a pile of snow. That’s why I like snowy days so much there are so many things you can choose from.

My favourite time of the year is summer time, because there's sun and no school (no offense meant there, Ms. Mattu, I just mean that there's more time for play!) I really enjoy being able to go to parks and playing with my friends and cousins. Of course, summertime means going to the beach, and that's never boring!
