Here it is, the year 2007 and the world keeps changing and changing. We have no control over the speed in which things change. First it was books. Then we moved onto televisions. Now computers are everywhere. As you get older, you will have more and more decisions to make as to how you want to spend your time. I'd like you to rank the three(books, television, computer) in the order in which you spend your free time, from most to least. Also, a brief explanation telling why you spend your time in this way would be good.
As always, I'll start.
During the school year, given the 3 choices (books, t.v., computers) I spend more time watching television. This is partially because I'm a big hockey fan so this means watching games on television. In second place would be using my computer. I spend so much time on my computer at school, it's not as appealing to me after school. I spend the least of my time with books. This is because it takes me some serious time to find something I really want to read. Once I find something to read, I want to have the freedom of reading whenever I want throughout the day until I finish it. This usually means that I save reading until the summer.

Reading consumes most of my free time. I read anywhere and anytime I can: newspapers at mealtimes, and novels in the car and at bedtime. I don't watch that much television except for news at dinnertime and DVDs when I exercise. I never use the computer in my free time since I don't play video games and I don't surf the Net.

I am a book-lover. I read all of the Junie B Jones and almost all the Magic Tree House. Now I am starting new series named Cam Jansen, Amber Brown,The Balley School Kids and Animal Ark. And mostly I like Cam Jansen's series.
I don't spend too much time on TV. I mostly watch christian channl, Cauio and Pinky Dinky Doo, the story teller.
I use computer when I do research, make posters or practise typing. Mostly I like doing research because I learn more.
I hope I will be better at typing and read more books that I like.

I watch tv everyday, because it's so cool. My favourite was The Boy, and now it's Skyland.
I read a lot. 30 minutes a day for Calvin and Hobbes, and about an hour reading Tintin.
When I'm done my schoolwork, as a reward I can play a game on the computer for half an hour. I go to orsinal sunshine, hotwheels.com and lego.com to play games.
I think what's really important is books, because they teach you about lots of stuff.

I love reading. I read many hours a day because sometimes I get so caught up in books that I don't want to stop reading. I think that, of the 3, reading consumes the most time. I've read all the Magic Tree House Books, and now I'm reading more advanced chapter books, like the Heroes of History series.
Next, comes computers, I love playing the computer, whether it's Age of the Empires, or Lego Chess. I'm not allowed to spend too much time on the computer, but I make the best of the time I am.
T.V. is the one I spend the least time on. I really hardly ever watch T.V. What I mostly watch is educational videos my mom gets me. Also, I like things that YOU have to do, better. Like if you're playing Age of the Empires, you decide when and where to move.

I like to watch my favorite shows on TV most days when I can. I like Zoey 101, Hannah Montana and Full House alot. I have a subscription to OWL magazine that I like reading when it comes, and I love going to the library to find new stories to read. I have my own e-mail account that I use to talk to my friends, and I use the computer to play games on family.ca and other sites. Mostly I use the computer for finding information for schoolwork.
I liked this field trip very much. I liked the IMAX theatre movie on hurricane Katrina. My grandpa lived there when he was little so the news about the hurricane was really hard for him. He fished in the wetlands before it was all muddy and gross it was really pretty back then. I cried when it showed the city and people’s homes after the hurricane struck. My Aunt Coral went down to help re-build the houses and buildings when it happened.

I love to read and I am reading, “A Series of Unfortunate Events”, “Ella Enchanted”, and “Mary Popins”. I like reading because it helps me be a better writer so since I also love to write I read all the time. Next comes, the computer; I like the computer because it is fun. I like playing, Sims 2, Neopets, Everythinggirl.com, and Powerpets.com. Then comes T.V; I don’t always watch it, but I do on brakes, sometimes, when it is raining outside. If it is not raining I go out and play on my swing set. I like watching T.V when I don’t have a lot of time since it is easy to turn off. I watch it when I am bored and have nothing really to do and then while I watch it I draw since I love to draw.
