We're back! We have now all begun working on our school program for this year. Things are progressing smoothly and now we have time to 'connect' using the blog. For some of you this will be a new experience. For others, this will be 'old hat'. The idea is to share our opinions, comments and experiences through the blog.Let's begin by sharing your opinion about summer holidays. Summer holidays are just over two months long. Some people think this is too long. They would rather have a shorter summer and increase the winter and spring breaks. What if you had the power to make a change in shortening the summer or leaving it as is. What would you do and why?

I want to leave it the way it is because if the winter break is longer then I will have to keep bundling up. It annoys me to keep bundling up so much. So, that's why I want to keep the summer break the way it is.

I wish the summer breaks were longer and the spring breaks were cancelled. Summer is nicer than spring a lot of the time because spring in wetter.

I want a long summer, winter and spring break because there would be more time for goofing off and having fun.

I would make the summer a year long, because kids need longer days off, and because kids never wanted to start schoolwork, since they were in kindergarten. That’s why they need to play more games, and for three hours at a time. Hee hee hee hee.

I wish summer holidays were longer, and that there were no winter breaks, because I like summer a lot more. In the winter, the cold prevents me from playing outside, but in the summer, I can play outside without being bothered by the cold.

I would make summer holidays three days long. Then I would make winter break two months long. Then I would spring break one month long.
I think the summer should be shorter because it is way too hot in the summer and this way you can have more time off throughout the year.
I wish that the summer break would be longer and the winter and spring break would be shorter. Maybe there could not even be a spring break because it is only a week.

I think summer should be longer because then you get to swim in the ocean and spend more time at the beach.
