In Vancouver, students visited the Beaty Biodiversity Musuem at the University of British Columbia. One of the most impressive sites is the 26 meter long blue whale skeleton which is suspended in the entrance atrium. Students had the opportunity to view fossils, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and many other specifmens from around B. C. and the world. Here are a few photos taken during this field trip.

I liked the museum with the castle, it looked nice. I think museums are important because you learn stuff from them. Museums collect artifacts and fossils and teach us about our past. If we didn't have museums we wouldn't get to see so many amazing things.

It's really fun to visit museums. I think museums are very important as we can learn lots of thing that happened in the past.. the culture, the history of a country, and there are many types of museums for those who have different interests such as art museum, car museum, aerospace museum, insect museum etc.etc...life would be so boring without museums :)
Museums are important because a museum is a place that holds many things of scientific, artistic, cultural and/or historial importance. Without museums, our knowledge base will be more narrow.

I like museums because they give opportunity to people like me to see artifacts and other interesting things from the past like mummies and dinosaurs and stuff like that. If we didn't have museums we wouldn't be able to tell stories as well and visit a place that shares stuff from the past. It would be very boring.
I think the museums are good to show animals that are extinct or have died. I like museums because they're interesting.

It would be impossible for us to go back in time that is why museums are very important. We get to see what the people and places look like long long ago. We can learn from them too!
I think owls are really cool animals . And they look so funny when they get scared too.
